I just realized something while creating and working on alreadylovedkids.com with my wife, Aimee—whose name means beloved—has been a joy. We want to help people realize and remember their beloved identity.

There's something profound about the interplay between creating and relating. Joy springs from creation within relationships, and relationships deepen through creation.

Consider co-writing: when you collaborate, sharing heart-to-heart, something unique emerges that wouldn't have come from working alone.

It's like how babies are made—creation born from union.

Think about when God said, “Let us make man in our image,” and how that phrase reveals the essence of relationship in creation. “Let US make”

God, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is not just creating, they are creating together.

Deep thought warning: God is not just in a relationship. God IS a relationship. 🤯

In our lives and creative processes, let’s embrace this principle.

Creativity springs from relationships—melding disparate ideas into something new.

Creation is the relationship between otherwise separate elements. (Not just people, but objects and ideas. E.g., Peanut Butter and Chocolate→ Reese’s Pieces.)

There is a special joy that my wife and I have when we hear our brilliant producer son help his sister with her final mix for her new song… it isn’t about the new song, but the interaction that bears such good fruit. Something about doing it together.

So, how does this apply to you?

Focus on building strong relationships with your worship team members, pastors, and leaders.

From these connections, creativity will naturally flow. New life, fresh thinking, and innovative ways of doing things will emerge—not from focusing solely on creativity but from nurturing relationships.

Creativity is the fruit of a relationship.

Prioritize healthy relationships, and watch creativity blossom.
