Lots of seeds out there.

Abundance and resourcefulness, two powerful concepts that not only shape our lives, but also resonate deeply with our personal experiences. How we perceive and utilize resources is not just a philosophical idea, but a fundamental aspect of our daily existence.

“Man can count how many seeds are in an apple, but only God can count how many apples are in a seed.” This profound statement, often attributed to Warren Wiersbe, encapsulates the essence of abundance and resourcefulness.

Consider this: a single seed, seemingly insignificant, has the potential to transform into a towering tree that bears many apples. Each apple, in turn, carries numerous seeds, each capable of sprouting into another tree with its own abundance of apples. It’s a remarkable cycle of exponential growth, all starting from a single seed.

What’s fascinating is that you need to eat the apple to get to the seed. We’re often taught that consuming means there will be less, like a fixed pie with only a limited number of slices to go around. This leads us to think that if a few people have a lot, others will have less. Hence the cultural mistrust of the rich. But that’s not true.

You create more provision by consuming the fruit and exposing and sowing the seeds. You need to know the difference between your seed and your bread. Eat your bread and sow your seed.

This idea applies not just to money but also to creative pursuits. You might have an incredible song idea and fear you’ll never get another one like it. But there are countless ideas out there waiting for you.

Rest assured, there are abundant resources available to you as you use what you have. Being faithful with little brings more. So be wise, whether it’s money, writing, or any creative work. Consuming enough to expose the seeds allows them to grow more than you could ever imagine, ensuring a constant supply of resources for your journey.
